The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin announced the CM Aptitude Scheme, inviting 11th-class students to participate in the Aptitude Test scheduled for 23rd September 2023. Successful candidates in the Aptitude Test will be rewarded with a Monthly Stipend of 1000 INR until they complete their graduation. Additionally, the State government provides Rs. 10,000 in a year to support the education of deserving students.

Benefit to Government School Students:

The scheme primarily targets 11th Class students in government schools, ensuring that deserving students from less privileged backgrounds can benefit.

Monthly Stipend:

Students who pass the Aptitude Test will receive a monthly stipend of INR 1000, providing them with financial assistance to pursue their studies without worries.

Stipend until Graduation:

The stipend will continue until the student completes their graduation, offering consistent support during their academic journey.

Limited Seats:

The scheme is competitive, with the government selecting only 500 boys and 500 girls, making a total of 1000 seats available.

Direct Benefit Transfer:

The financial assistance will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the selected students, streamlining the process and ensuring timely disbursement.

Tamil Nadu CM Aptitude Test Scheme 2023 Exam Pattern

The Aptitude Test comprises two exam papers scheduled for 23rd September. Each paper carries 60 marks. Paper 1 is dedicated to Mathematics and Paper 2 to Science and Social Science. The detailed exam schedule is as follows:

Tamil Nadu CM Aptitude Test Scheme Eligibility Criteria’s

To participate in the Chief Minister’s Aptitude Test Scheme, students must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

Permanent Residence:

• Students must be permanent residents of Tamil Nadu State.

Studying in 11th Class:

• Applicants should currently be enrolled in the 11th Class.

Government School Students:

• Only students studying in Tamil Nadu Government Schools are eligible to apply.

Tamil Nadu State Curriculum School Students:

• Students following the Tamil Nadu State Curriculum are also eligible.

Limited Seats:

As mentioned earlier, only 500 boys and 500 girls will be selected for the monthly stipend.
